“Love begins in a moment, grows over time, and lasts an eternity.” This quotation was the theme at City Hall last weekend, as 46 couples were honored for celebrating 50 years or more of marriage.
Leading the group – all of who we congratulate for living through many years, decades and generations of “wedding bliss” – were Seymour and Jean Mason, who are celebrating 68 years of marriage.
They were married Feb. 29, 1948, when Harry Truman was president.
Three other couples that deserve mention are Joseph and Victoria Martin, celebrating 67 years of marriage, wed in 1950; celebrating 66 years of marriage,
since 1951, are Joseph and Rita Kelly, Frank and Charlotee Marchese, and Michael and Stefanie Zwarycz.....
