Will Yonkers school board members have to dip into rainy day or emergency funds?.... Oh wait they spent that last year.....

#WINNING: Yonkers School Students Will Continue To Get Free Lunches Until March Despite President Donald J. Trump's Government Shut Down
YONKERS: As if the #Trump administration’s recent rollback of school lunch nutrition rules weren’t bad enough, the president’s ill-conceived, peevish partial government shutdown (now at 33 days and counting) is further endangering Yonkers schools’ ability to provide healthy meals for the the city of hills children.
The US Department of Agriculture (USDA), which subsidizes school meal programs, has assured the Yonkers School District they would receive funding for those programs through March.
But Yonkers school board members are looking down the road and wondering whether they’ll have to dip into rainy day or emergency funds.... Oh wait they spent that last year
Maybe they can pay for school lunches by cutting after school programs, or raid money from summer programs to make ends meet if the shutdown continues beyond that.
But soon the school board will have to start figuring how to solve the 50 Million budget deficit with out firing YFT President #SamanthaRosadoCiriello's teachers or CSEA President Lionel Turner's educational aides and support personnel
