WPIX NEW YORK: Brooklyn toddler hasn’t seen his mother since before 1st birthday; family will take part in NYC ‘Missing Persons Day’

On May 6, 2016, Chelsea was supposed to check into a rehab in Yonkers but never did, according to Rose Cobo.“Somebody knows something. Somebody saw something. She didn’t fall off the face of the earth,” Rose Cobo sobbed.

Christopher Cobo was shy, after waking from a nap in his Borough Park home. He will turn two years old in July. His mother, Chelsea, has missed many of his milestones.

“His second birthday is approaching, and that means he’s going to become more aware,” said Christopher’s grandmother, Rose Cobo. “Right now, he doesn’t really know that his mother’s missing.”

Chelsea Cobo, who was 22 when she vanished last May, is one of 13,000 people who disappeared in New York City in 2016.....
