RAINY DAY FUND IS GONE: NY State Comptroller Reports Says Mike "Lets Fire 24 Teachers And 12 Cops Spano Is Setting Up Yonkers To Fail.

"The City is projecting unassigned general fund balance of $38.6 million at the end of the 2016-17 fiscal year. The City appropriated $37.7 million, or approximately 97.6 percent
of the projected fund balance, in the 2017-18 proposed budget.", says New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli

"This will leave the general fund with fund balance of less than 1 percent of appropriations, which will provide little cushion for
unforeseen circumstances or fluctuations in cash flow." added New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli

"In addition, the City has appropriated $7.7 million of unassigned fund balance in the debt service fund and $564,649 of unassigned fund balance in the library fund." New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli warned yonkers officials and residents.
