The City of Yonkers remembered the sacrifice made by its veterans to protect our country with a Veterans Day ceremony Nov. 11 at the Veterans Memorial Plaza on South Broadway
below City Hall.
Yonkers Veterans Services Director Lou Navarro welcomed all and introduced veteran and former Mayor John Spencer, who made remarks, as did Mayor Mike Spano.
The presentation of colors was made by the Yonkers Police
Honor Guard and Empire VFW Post 375 Guard.
