College prep materials, classes and training will be expanded to schools throughout the state thanks to a new partnership between the state Education Department and the national nonprofit College Board.
"The partnership builds upon the College Board’s ongoing work with school districts and BOCES across the state, including in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Yonkers, and New York City," the state Education Department press release said.
In-school and after-school programs will be offered in collaboration with organizations like My Brother's Keeper to provide SAT practice using Khan Academy, an academic service online to help students with challenges on a variety of school subjects......
