Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano reappointed Trustee Nader Sayegh to another five-year term on the Board of Education.
Sayegh previously served five years on the Board of Education, including three years as board president.
"Dr. Sayegh is a proven leader who has always made the students of Yonkers his top priority," Spano said in a statement Tuesday. "He has established several successful committees and has lobbied hard for changes in the New York State Aid formula, which has historically shortchanged our schools over the years. I’m proud that he will continue to be a member of our dynamic Board of Education.".....
