YONKERS - A funeral is being held today in Yonkers for a young man who died after a confrontation with police.
Dozens of mourners gathered outside Sinatra Funeral Home in Yonkers on Monday to remember Jonathon Maldonado.
Police tasered the 21-year-old after he allegedly stole a cellphone from Best Buy in Hartsdale.
Police were told he swallowed several packets of an unknown substance before his arrest. He went into cardiac arrest shortly after and died at a hospital.....
