“I’m proud to extend my endorsement to Kat Brezler for State Senate in the 37th District,” said Democratic Committee member Michael Kraver.

“Throughout everything she has done, from teaching to fighting against fracking, she has put her whole heart and energy into the causes she cares about. I can only expect she will do the same in the Senate, and it is that dedication and resolution that we need if we want to see change for our community. I’m excited to see what she will do in Albany.”

“It is my pleasure to endorse an activist like Kat Brezler for State Senate. It is important that we elect people like Kat who fight for workers and students. The party needs new blood that is not afraid to be front and center and in the streets on the issues that are important to us all. I have seen the dedication that Kat brings to every fight she takes on. In the Senate, we can count on her to go beyond lip-service and push for real change,” said District Leader Ruthmarie Garcia Hicks.

“I extend my sincere gratitude to these three community leaders and friends who have consistently been a strong voice for our diverse neighborhoods. Their endorsements not only show their belief in me to be the advocate the White Plains community needs, but is also a testament to the work I have been able to accomplish as an activist and teacher. We’re building a movement with our bold ideas and no nonsense approach, and I am thankful they see in me the positive change I will bring to the 37th district. I feel confident that I will deliver tangible results to our district, and I hope to continue working with them in the future,” saidKatherine Brezler, candidate for State Senate.
