CALL FOR ARTISTS

10th Annual BDAC Artist-Member Juried Exhibition Deadline: Friday, December 22, 2017* Exhibition Dates: January 6, 2018 to February 3, 2018 Opening Reception: January 6, 2018 from 2-5pm Artist-Members of The Blue Door Art Center will have an opportunity to display their work in this special juried members-only exhibition. If you are not yet a member, this is a great time to join or renew your membership to be part of this exciting, highly publicized gallery and to have all member benefits. Guest curator: Enrico Giordano - Artist, Professor and Chair of the Fine Arts Department at the College of Mt. St. Vincent See the submission page for more details and upload form. *The submission deadline has been extended to 12/22/17.

Xpress Yourself Open Mic: Winter Finale Friday 12/15, 7-9pm: The Xpress Yourself open mic is a safe and open space for ALL artists and spectators to come perform or sit back & enjoy the show. Friday December 15th we come together one last time in 2017 to put on a great event then break until Spring! Sign-up starts at 6:30 and ends at 8. $2 suggested donation. See the event page

Make Your Own Lip Balm workshop (ages 4-10) Saturday 12/16, 10am-noon: Join instructor Nikki Rodriguez for a free workshop to make your own lip balm. This workshop is for children ages 4-10. The Mixed Media Drawing workshop originally scheduled for this Saturday is cancelled. Reply to this, or email maria@bluedoorartcenter.org to pre-register.

Holiday Reception Saturday 12/16, 2-5pm: Join us in the gallery for a Holiday Reception to shop the handmade goods included in our Holiday Show, and spread holiday cheer!
