Martin Perez came into the world as a gift. He was born on his mother’s birthday, and was named for his mother, Martina. He was a muscular guy who loved martial arts.
A few years ago he battled cancer and won.
Martin Perez didn't know that he should fear delivering food to fifty Hawthorne Avenue - a massive apartment complex with over 400 units.
Fifteen other delivery guys have been robbed this past year in Yonkers.
Police were alerted by his coworkers after Perez never returned back to work after going on the delivery call.
Martin Perez was a young father who was said to be working extra hours at Emerald Diner to give his daughter a nice Christmas.
