Kaitlyn Downey volunteers her time with the Tiger Basketball Camp as well as events sponsored by the North #Yonkers Scholarship Foundation.
She's also volunteered her time with ACES Charity Basketball game, wheelchair classic all-star game.
She also helped introduce "Food Truck Fridays" at Maria Regina.
She's the founder of the People of Color Club, a member of the National Science Honors Society, Spanish Club and a Peer Minister.
As Student Council president, she led "Socktober" which collected socks for homeless people which were distributed during breakfast runs.
She led field day where the proceeds went to Hurricane Harvey victims......
