Rob Astorino​ Appointee Phil Gille wants to suppress and intimidate minority voters with “ballot security” at polling stations in southwest #Yonkers

JOURNAL NEWS: Dems want elections board to probe Astorino campaign email to county workers 

An attorney for Democrat George Latimer​, Rob Astorino's opponent in Tuesday's election, called for the state Board of Elections to investigate whether a letter from the deputy commissioner of the Department of Social Services violated election law.

The Journal News/lohud has viewed a copy of the email, which did not have a list of recipients. It wasn't clear who the specific recipients were and the email viewed had the addressee's name redacted. The email was sent Wednesday by #PhilGille, the deputy commissioner....

....State Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins​ and other Democratic officials held a news conference Friday to say they were taking steps to counter those measures which they said amounted to voter #intimidation and #suppression.....

...An attorney for Latimer is now asking for an investigation by Risa Sugarman, chief enforcement counsel for the state Board of Elections....
