Downtown Yonkers is transforming itself into a more artistic destination, so it made sense to #RobertRosario to take his restaurant in the same direction
After acquiring Guapo Cocina Mexicana about six months ago, Rosario, 45, hired painters and graffiti artists to decorate the dining room's walls, creating a riot of colors and images.
"My restaurant is rising to the higher expectations of the people who are moving into this area or who will soon settle here," said Robert Rosario, referring to residents in new downtown apartment buildings who work in Manhattan and could easily have dinner there after work.
"My chef works in one of the best Mexican restaurants I've visited in Manhattan."....
