YONKERS, NY January 3, 2017 — The Yonkers Police Department Office of Emergency Management (OEM) will be partnering with the National Guard to give a free citizen preparedness presentation on January 31, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Grinton I. Will Library, located at 1500 Central Park Avenue. Note free adjacent on-site parking.
This two hour presentation will help assist our residents to develop an emergency plan, build an emergency preparedness kit, become aware of emergency alerts, and how to get involved in volunteering with their community here in Yonkers.
